Whisper of a thrill…

Here is a piece I worked on over this weekend. I was looking through some stock photo sites, I came across one image in particular and thought it would be perfect to put a couple of techniques i’ve been learning about into practice. I’m really pleased with how it turned out, so much so that I did two versions!

As with all the works here, just click on the plus sign for a full preview.

McCann Erickson Digital Rebrand

Concept for a proposed rebrand of McCann I to McCann Erickson Digital. Inspired by what digital meant to me, I came up with several concepts that attempt to communcate the electrifying, exciting and buzzing nature of what digital has to offer us.

Digital rebrand 2

Matt McRae - Vector portrait

A personal piece exploring vector techniques.

Clarks Sale E - Mail template

Clarks were after an e mail template that they could use for when they had sales on. In keeping with Clarks brand values, I created an e mail that was clearly about a sale, without being tacky.

Aldi Retail - Football Fever

Aldi needed to promote a weekly special buy in a product and price focussed e mail. This was the result.

UPS Transborder

To promote their new faster shipping times, UPS required a simple and appealing e mail, in a format that would lend itself to being translated into 12 different languages.

Motion magic

Disconcertion, a weekly dance night run by myself at University, needed some graphics to grace projection screens during the event, here are just two of the ones used. The second uses the Disconcertion symbol.

Aldi - Summer flash banners

This is one of several flash banners produced for the Aldi homepage. Simplicity was required, using imagery to entice the customer to find out more.

Gola Classics - Creative concept 2008

Gola classics were after a new brand concept for 2008. They wanted one single image, that got across the nostalgic element of the trainers, without being overtly retro. This was chosen to go through to the pitch.

ME ME ME Creative concepts 2008

Creative concept for Vivalis’ ‘Me Me Me’ make up brand. They needed a fresh look for 2008 that conveyed the darker edge to their new product ranges.
